Here is a chart to estimate yardage using the ribbon width and Whimsy Stick size. The chart gives the ribbon yardage needed to make 1 yd of finished looped trim and the number of loops in that yard (some flowers are made by counting loops). The chart is from my newest book Whimsy Flowers and Trims and can be found on page 30.
